Our Pre-School

Hatherleigh Pre-School is run by a voluntary parents' committee, who in conjunction with the preschool staff aim to offer a safe and stimulating environment for all the children registered with the Pre-School.

The Pre-School is very accessible, with ample parking available. We are open each weekday, with various options and sessions available.

The Pre-School is a happy, lively and fun place to be.

We are run by a voluntary committee of parents, who in conjunction with the pre school staff aim to offer a safe and stimulating environment for all the children registered with the Pre-School.

We pride ourselves on learning through play and having fun, where children learn to socialise, often with the children they will then go on to full time education with. During the time at the Pre-School, the children learn to share, exchange ideas and cooperate with adults and each other.  We endeavour to offer a high ratio of adults to children, so being able to offer more individual care and attention at all times.

We have to abide by the rules and regulations set by Ofsted and the Early Years funding, which contributes to the overall planning to provide care and education throughout the Foundation stage.

We are also a member of the PLA (Pre School Learning Alliance)

Our Aims

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a community based group that involves and supports parents and families.

To support every child in fulfilling their potential, and to provide the foundation for their future learning.

To provide a welcoming, inclusive, safe, secure and stimulating environment.
